Just a stone’s throw from the metropolis of Lille, discover the Pévéloise countryside with this day’s cycling, specially designed to give you a chance to unwind and explore.
The route is varied and has been mapped out to take advantage of the many paths, lanes and cycle tracks in the area. Whether you’re cycling through fields, through marshes or along pretty country roads, you’ll find yourself in the midst of nature and relaxation!
The route is easy to cover on a conventional or electrically-assisted bike. The only difficulty is the short climb up Mont Pévèle!
Itinerary:
You leave Avelin in the morning for a day’s cycling through fields, marshes, small woods and cycle paths.
The itinerary is designed to ensure that you make the most of this relaxing and enjoyable day.
Along the way, several picnic spots are identified in the guidance application.
There is just one minor difficulty in the second half of the route: the climb up to Mons en Pévèle. But it’s perfectly accessible on both a muscle bike and an electric bike.
The basic price includes :
- A personal welcome and briefing at your departure
- The roadbok available on the Roadbook for Discovery app 48 hours before your departure, with a description of the trip, the route to follow, points of interest and various tips (the app is available on all smartphones from Android 7 and IOS 12).
- Picnic lunch prepared by a local caterer using local produce. The picnic will be given to you on departure.
- Assistance 7 days a week.
The basic price does not include :
- Bike hire (VTC electric or muscle bikes, to choose from, with different sizes available and equipment included) is optional.
