The “Weekend Innovation Tourisme”
On 8 April 2024, the Weekend Innovation Tourisme was held at the Palais des Congrès in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. A must-attend event for all tourism professionals in the Hauts-de-France region. Nearly 300 people gathered for the occasion in the Côte d’Opale resort.
Conferences, round tables, workshops: the day was particularly rich. It was an opportunity for many players in the tourism industry to meet and discuss the challenges facing tourism in the Hauts-de-France region. It was also an opportunity to meet entrepreneurs from France, Germany and Canada. They exhibited their projects in the Innovation Boutique.
The talents of tourism innovation
Hauts-de-France Tourisme has decided to reward 5 talented and innovative projects from the region. Here are the winners:
The Prix Jeune Pousse: Cocolodge for its tiny house project for farmers wishing to invest in agri-tourism.
The Impact prize went to Les Terrasses des Bords de Somme for their solar-powered rafts project, designed to enhance the river tourist routes along the Somme.
The Tourisme Tech prize was won by Spirit Of Dunkerque – Tourisme & Congrès for their NFT collection launched for the 2023 Kitsurf World Cup.
Hauts-France-Tourisme has awarded the Coup de Coeur prize to Echappée Bière for “Adopte un Houblon”. The project involves becoming the adoptive parent of 10 hop plants and following their growth.
Experience prize awarded to Ch’tis voyages à vélo
Just a few months after its creation, Ch’tis voyages à vélo was delighted to be awarded the Prix de l’Expérience by Hauts-de-France Innovation Tourisme and the Hauts de France Region. The award recognises the agency’s innovative tourism experience.
